Ready for use
It has been developed for making natural and (half)synthetic fibres fundamentally fire/ flame retardant and as such preventing a starting fire from spreading info a blazing fire. FINIVLAM® T can be used for temporary apply for exhibitions, fairs, concerts etc.
After having sprayed the liquid upon the surface, and the drying process,
it attaches to the surface of the fibres and thus forms an invisible layer. FINIVLAM ® T has a limited guaranty-period of three months.
How to use FINIVLAM® T:
First of all windows, walls and floors should be covered (to a distance of 3 metres/ 4 yards approximately) with a water – consistent foil.
The curtains / bare curtains should hang out evenly with as few folds possible during the drying process. (Remove pleat hooks if possible).
Shake the product before use!
Spray the liquid in a flower- sprayer or a Compression sprayer
Make sure that the liquid spreads evenly on the surface.
Let the curtains dry.
Rinse the sprayer directly after use with warm water (± 60 ºC )
How to test the effectivity of FINIVLAM® T:
The effectivity of FINIVLAM® T on the material can be tested as follows:
- Hold a flame close to a tiny piece of the sprayed and dried curtain / material.
This should not inflame at least within 15 seconds.
- Should the effectively be in sufficient , please repeat the spraying treatment once more.
Liquid which has leaked though the fibre can be removed with warm water ( 60 ºC) to which 2 % ammonia is added Due to the respective quality of the tissue / fibre some shrinkage might be possible.
